Action SA and EFF picket outside the Newcastle Municipal office against councillor accused of racism
Political parties have said they condemn any form of racism and will not stand for intolerance.
Members of Action SA, along with the EFF, are currently picketing outside the Newcastle municipality demanding to know what legal action is being taken against a local DA ward councillor accused of racism.
Faizel Cassim (Action SA Newcastle Caucus Leader and Action SA Regional Coordinator) said; “Action SA is here to create visibility against racism. The party demands answers from the Speaker of Council regarding the progress of the case.”
