Local beauties crowned at Miss Wonder Woman Pageant

Dheochand thanked each and every girl who took part in the event, saying they all looked incredible in their outfits.

Dazzling gowns and bright smiles were the order of the evening as local beauties walked down the runway in the second Annual Miss Wonder Woman Cancer Awareness Beauty pageant.

On October 29, local beauty queen Sharnè Dheochand hosted the much-anticipated event at the Pines Wedding and Conference Village, which saw dozens of aspiring beauty pageant enthusiasts compete for the ultimate titles.

The following girls were crowned supreme at the end of the evening, after much deliberation by the judges:

18+ Category:

13 to 17 Category:

7 to 9 Category:

10 to 12 Category:

Dheochand was also proud to present local breast cancer warrior, Rachael Minaar with a voucher for a brand new prosthetic breast and bra donated by Reach for Recovery.

Rachael is currently undergoing chemotherapy after having a left breast mastectomy and was overjoyed when she accepted the voucher.

Dheochand thanked each and every girl who took part in the event, saying they all looked incredible in their outfits.

She also wanted to thank all of her sponsors for helping to make the evening such a success.

“I want to thank our Heavenly Father most of all for his blessings,” she said.
