Security company donates and gives back to communities

“Anything is possible if you believe, have respect and work in unity. The company has been active and operating for 23 years now and is running across all provinces because the company was formed out of love and respect.”

“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed,” says Proverbs in the Bible. With those words in mind, staff members from a local security  company visited the underprivileged on Friday.

They visited three schools in the rural areas, namely Silweni Combined, Bernica and Mqwabe Primary School. They also drove to Emazezeni to visit a grandmother who lives in a poorly-built house. There, the company donated building materials, furniture and food parcels.

Thulani Makhubu from SESS mentioned that the aim of these visits is to give back to communities that are less fortunate. “Sinqobile Security Services is a company that works closely with Transnet to look after railway infrastructure and stop criminals from stealing copper cables.”

They visited mainly people and schools situated close to the railways to raise awareness of this scourge. The children were motivated by Mrs Ndwandwe, who emphasised the importance of education and showed them some love by donating full school uniforms to those learners who were in great need. The parents of the children were also called to school to receive food parcels.
The CEO of the company, Mr Ndwandwe, said he is grateful to all his employees because, without them, none of this would be possible. At the gala dinner held afterwards, he said, “Anything is possible if you believe, have respect and work in unity. The company has been active and operating for 23 years now and is running across all provinces because the company was formed out of love and respect.” He then thanked the Mdlalose tribal authority for welcoming him onto their land, AbaQulusi Local Municipality and the workers. “If you want to be a leader someday, start by being submissive now. If you want to be respected, start now to respect people. Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.’’

The Mdlalose royal family and the chief welcomed the company and gave them blessings to work within their land and communities in terms of bringing change and stopping cable theft.
The community members who benefited showed gratitude and thanked the company for donating to them. One community member said, “It may not be much, but it will make a difference in our homes and I really appreciate it.”
