Old ladies get pampered as a Women’s Day treat

The senior citizens were treated to a special lunch and engaged in activities to keep fit.

The elderly ladies at Glencoe ABH Old Age Home were pampered in celebration of Women’s Day.
They received gifts and flowers throughout the day, and were ecstatic when they were also given foot massages.
“We are very grateful for the spa treatment and we appreciate the body massages as well,” said an ABH resident.
The senior citizens were treated to a special lunch and engaged in activities to keep fit.
“This was an extra-special day for the residents, as they were treated like royalty for Women’s Day,” said resident social worker Zinhle Dlamini.
Dlamini added that the elderly are in good health as they are strictly on a vegetable eating plan. She concluded by explaining that the residents have special game nights when they do puzzles and play other games to keep their minds ‘sharp’.
