Students raped and assaulted in their dorm

The three-hour-long ordeal began when those inside heard the door being smashed open.

A large crowd gathered outside the Dundee Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, demanding that bail be denied for two men who allegedly raped and terrorised students from Majuba TVET College, Dundee Campus.
Seven students were allegedly attacked at their rental home in Peacevale after the suspects allegedly broke into the dorm in the early hours of the morning on July 30.
One of the students was raped, with others being assaulted by the suspects.
The three-hour-long ordeal began when those inside heard the door being smashed open.
From 02:00 to 05:00 the mask-wearing suspects held the women captive. Later, the suspects became so comfortable at the scene that they removed their masks.
The dorm had both male and female students, with many being forced to listen as the suspects raped one of the students in her room. As soon as the suspects fled the scene, the students raised the alarm. They have since been housed in a place of safety, pending the arrest of all the suspects. To date only two of the three attackers have been arrested.
