Local boxer Phiwokuhle ‘Ben 10’ in the semi finals
Never before has SA had a woman boxer making the podium at this level.
Congratulations pour in as local boxer makes it to the semi-finals. Phiwokuhle ‘Ben 10’ Mnguni from the local Sibongile Boxing Family Club clinched Team SA’s first ever women’s boxing medal at Birmingham Commonwealth games.
Phiwokuhle is through to the semi-finals and is now guaranteed a medal in the Women’s Featherweight.
