Coach represents province at mini-cricket seminar

Nashreen Nanan was among seven people chosen to represent the KZN Inland at the seminar.

Newcastle mini-cricket coach, Nashreen Nanan was among the 180-plus volunteer coaches at the annual KFC Mini-Cricket National Seminar. The seminar took place at Sun City from July 11 to 13.

Nanan was among seven people chosen to represent the KwaZulu-Natal Inland region at the seminar, which is open to volunteer coaches who have gone ‘above and beyond’ to grow the programme.

It was such an honour to have been able to attend this prestigious event once again. We were truly spoiled while we were there,” said Nanan.

In celebration of reaching a 40th birthday milestone, the seminar was also attended by Temba Bavuma (captain of the Proteas), Kagiso Rabada (Proteas fast bowler), Raisibe Nthozake (Proteas women off-spinner) and Tazmin Brits (Proteas women batter).
