Golfers support club competition
It was a fine winter's day on the course
Estcourt Golf Club hosted a club-sponsored Combined Stableford competition on Saturday (July 16).
What started as an overcast morning turned into a glorious winter day and made for perfect conditions on the course.
Winners of the Combined Stableford on 80 points were Hlanganani ‘Snoopy’ Hlongwane and Mark ‘Sport’ Gillitt, followed in second place by Luke Schiever and Geoff Richmond on 78 points.
In third place on 75 points were the father-and-son combination of Jeremy and Oliver Brown.

Warren Smith and Cynthia Richmond won the jackpot on 20 points.
Warren was also closest to the pin on no. 3, while Oliver’s well-struck tee shot earned him closest on no. 12.
Connor Brown, Viren Omardath, Mark Gillitt, Jeremy Brown and Luke Schiever all earned themselves two-clubs.
