A business robbery case was recently finalised in court, with hefty sentences handed down to the perpetrators.
The robbery took place in the Jononoskop area in August 2019, where airtime, cigarettes, cellphones and cash was taken by the robbers.
Two men, aged 42 and 53, were arrested and firearms were recovered.
The two suspects were sentenced to 15 and 10 years’ direct imprisonment for business robbery, respectively.
The investigation was conducted by Constable PR Dube of Elandslaagte Detective Services.
