Cllr Mngadi says he has been reporting leaks, but nothing is being done about the situation

Ward 10 Councillor Xolani Mngadi is fed up with uThukela District Municipality, claiming that he has reported sewage and water leaks in his ward but nothing has been done about the situation.

He says he has been reporting the leaks in Jacob Zuma Street, JL Dube Street, Kenneth Kawunda Street and King Dinuzulu Street, but none of them have been attended to as yet.

““This is really uncalled for! We can’t let people stay in this kind of environment. This also poses a danger to their health. uThukela should do the right thing and fix the mess they have caused. It can’t be that a single ward has so many problems and none of them are attended to,” said a fuming Cllr Mngadi.
