Marksmen take aim at rifle league shoot

The National Rifle League .22 was hosted at the Buffalo River Shooting Club in Newcastle on July 9.

A chilly, windy start to the day did not deter NKZN’s competitive shooters from competing in the National Rifle League .22 at the Buffalo River Shooting Club in Newcastle on Saturday (July 9).

Local shooters, young and old, demonstrated their accuracy, precision, and speed during the competition’s activities.

The NRL22 is a division of the National Rifle League South Africa, a precision rifle advocacy and support non-profit organisation aiming to empower precision rifle organisations and athletes through education and opportunities for growth, as well as educating the public about firearm safety.
