Dundee July spectators urged to collect their free tickets now

Remember to save the main date of July 16, from 09:00 until late.

Endumeni residents are urged to collect their free Dundee July tickets in due course.
The Department of Sport, Arts & Culture has released a statement regarding the free tickets, which reads as follows:
The stage is set for the big comeback of the famous Dundee July Horse Racing on Saturday, July 16, which is just over a week away.
This is indeed welcome news for entertainment lovers, as this year’s event marks the first full return of the normal full-blown glitz and glamour spectacle, open to spectators in their thousands.
The theme is ‘Royalty’, which will run for the next three years.
In line with the growth of the event and to improve security for patrons, people attending the 2022 Dundee July will be required to obtain free tickets from TickePro outlets, which will allow them to enter the venue.
TicketPro is available at many retail outlets, including the following: Spar, Cambridge Foods, Rhino Cash & Carry, Sasol Garage, Choppies, Power Fashion, Hollywoodbets and Jumbo Cash & Carry.
“The Dundee July is growing on a yearly basis and we are happy that this year, we will be welcoming back the public.
“In order to ensure that there is proper control and that everyone attending is safe, people entering will have to be in possession of tickets which are available free of charge from TicketPro outlets,” said KZN MEC for Sport, Arts & Culture Hlengiwe Mavimbela.
“We urge people to collect their tickets early to enjoy a day of hotly-contested horse races, fashion shows, and entertainment by upcoming and established artists.
“We look forward to a lovely day at the Dundee Horse Racing Track on Saturday.”
As part of the build-up activities, this year’s event will feature the Equine Industry Careers Expo that is scheduled for July 12 to 13 at the local Moth Hall.
Community members and learners, in particular, will be exposed to various career opportunities in the equine sector as part of efforts to grow the value chains associated with the industry.
Other build-up activities include fashion training, Miss & Mr Dundee July beauty pageant, and the annual Dundee July Street Carnival on Friday (July 15).
Remember to save the main date of July 16, from 09:00 until late.
