Bring a buddy to donate blood

Any blood donor who brings a friend along to also donate will receive a token of appreciation

Blood shortage in the country remains a challenge. Endeavouring to fight this, the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) is running a ‘Bring ‘n Buddy’ campaign during the month of July.

This is to encourage people to save lives through blood donation. The campaign started on July 1 and will run until the 31st.

The Ladysmith Blood Donor Clinic at San Marco Centre has friendly staff who are waiting for your visit.

Clinic supervisor Zikhona Lupondo said that on July 18, they will be celebrating Mandela Day with the aim of collecting many pints of life-saving blood. So you can expect a gift for your valuable donation! All are welcome.
