A ray of light for Khethukuthula Secondary

School uniforms and sanitary towels were donated to more than 50 learners.

Lindeni Mazibuko, the Ward 9 Councillor, brought a ray of hope to the learners of Khethukuthula Secondary School on June 24. She donated school uniforms and sanitary towels to more than 50 learners.

According to Newcastle Municipality’s Head of Communications, Mlungisi Khumalo, Cllr Mazibuko was determined to make a difference in the lives of Inverness’s underprivileged children.

She sought assistance from local philanthropist, Mr Masuku and Sbethamoya NPC, a non-profit organisation based in Soweto.”

Khumalo said Thulile Ngcobo, the Director of Sbethamoya, promised the community of Ward 9 continued support. She is said to have reiterated support and commitment to bringing ‘change and light’ to the Inverness community, particularly for underprivileged children and disabled residents.
