Volksrust High ‘karate kids’ keep kicking it –

SA JKA (the South African Japanese Karate Association) held its national competition at the Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg recently.

More than 1 000 karateka from all nine provinces competed for the top positions!

Two of the karateka who participated in this event were from Volksrust High School, proving once again that VHS is home to many talented and outstanding learners.

We are extremely proud of Paulos Gebeyehu and Davida Steenkamp’s achievements and dedication; Davida finished second in her division and received SA national colours!” said  representatives of the school.
