A woman lost her life in a crash on the Bergville road this morning (June 18).
Police officers responded to the scene and found that a vehicle had veered off the road.
The body of a female, estimated to be in her 40s, was found close to the vehicle.
“At this stage, the circumstances surrounding the incident are sketchy,” commented police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan.

Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
