Drakensview Primary principal meets with the mayor
The principal discussed pertinent topics relating to working together to prompt growth
Mr Pieter Brits, the newly-appointed principal of Drakensview Primary School, recently visited the mayor of Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality, Mr Mduduzi Myeza.
During the visit, Mr Brits discussed the admission of learners, as well as challenges faced by the education sector and local schools.
Mr Brits emphasised the importance of networking with and the involvement of various stakeholders. He said it is important that schools network with one another, with the business sector, the municipality and the community at large.

Mr Brits congratulated the mayor and his administration on their excellent progress thus far.
“We both have to take small steps to achieve our goals, but one day, when we look back, it was in fact giant leaps to success. May we both bring hope to the children and residents of Estcourt as we build a future for all,” Mr Brits concluded.
The principal wishes to thank the mayor and the municipality for the warm reception he received during his visit.
