Handing over donations to the AACL

Donations for the league can be dropped off at the Ladysmith Gazette offices

The Ladysmith Gazette has been involved in collecting donations for the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) for many years.

As part of the ‘Caxton Cares’ initiative, the Gazette is a drop-off point for all food donations (dog and cat food).

This past week, the Gazette took all the donations that have been dropped off, out to the AACL premises.

Animal inspector Pauline was ever-so-grateful for the items, which will go a long way towards improving the quality of life for the animals housed at the kennels in Newcastle Road.

Pauline sends a huge thank you to the community for their generosity and caring.

Remember that Ladysmith NTT Isuzu (60 Murchison Street) is also a drop-off point.
