DHS take on Vryheid on the sports field

DHS would like to thank Vryheid High for accommodating their request, as well as receiving the players in such a hospitable way.

On Friday, Dundee High School (DHS) learners travelled to Vryheid to compete in the last few matches before the exams officially start.
The sport was moved forward in order to accommodate the netball, because there was a terrible weather forecast for Saturday and Sunday. DHS would like to thank Vryheid High for accommodating their request, as well as receiving the players in such a hospitable way.
The scores were as follows:
Netball: first team won 27-7, second team lost 12-15, U/16 lost 1-14, U/15 lost 5-18, and U/14 won 8-6.
Rugby: U/14 drew 14-14, U/15 lost 12-17, U/16 lost 28-25, second team lost, and the first team drew 17-17.
Hockey: U/14 girls won 1-0, U/16 girls won 2-0, second team boys won 2-0, first team girls won 3-1, and first team boys won 5-0.

DHS would like to congratulate the following learners who were awarded gold certificates for their presentations: Mumtaz Malek, Zandisiwe Maphalala, Lerato Khanyile, Buhle Damane, Saaleha Malek, Karishma Kailas, Lethu Gule, Sihle Khumalo, Abongwe Shange, Mzokhona Mathebula, Nicole Mitchell, Andiswa Lamula, Cebolenkosi and Shanon Griffiths.
