The Umtshezi Dojo Warriors karate team from Estcourt was proud and honoured to be part of the KZN Karate Provincial Tournament which was held at the Umlazi Indoor Sport Centre in Durban recently.

This tournament involved all members of the Kyokushinkaikan in KwaZulu-Natal, which is an International Karate Organisation (IKO).

A number of media platforms were set up in order to witness this huge event after a long break, since all sporting codes were affected by the scourge of the coronavirus (Covid-19).

The tournament was arranged by the KZN Kyokushinkaikan Provincial Executive, which is led by Sensei Phehlukwayo.
