Drakensberg Football Club (FC) will be taking part in the ABC Motsepe League play-offs, to be held on the weekend of June 10 to 12.
This after being crowned as champions of the Wise Group Men’s Regional League.
Winning the league gives the team a ticket to go and represent the Uthukela region in the upcoming play-offs.

Team manager Maskito Hadebe said this was not an easy season, having played the best teams in the region.
“It really helped us that we brought experienced players to the team in December. Last year’s team was strong, but it lacked experience as we only had young talent. But we kept the same technical team led by Sdoks Khumalo,” said an overjoyed Hadebe.
