Two injured in Allen Street collision –
Two people were injured after their vehicles collided on Allen Street earlier this afternoon (May 17). The collision occurred on the stretch of road linking town to the ArcelorMittal South Africa Newcastle Works.
According to Jan-Henk van Vuuren of Magenta Medical Services, both drivers were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The exact cause of the collision is still unclear at this stage and will remain subject to further investigations by the authorities.
