Two injured in R34 truck collision

The drivers of two trucks sustained injuries, after their vehicles collided on the R34 Memel Road this morning (May 15).

According to an official source, the collision sent both side-tipper trucks veering off the roadway and down an embankment. Both drivers survived the crash and were said to have sustained moderate injuries.

They were treated at the scene, before being transported to hospital for further medical care,” said the source.

The details surrounding the collision are unclear at this stage. However, emergency personnel were present at the scene to conduct preliminary investigations into the incident.
