Mayor donates school shoes

Learners from disadvantaged backgrounds benefit the most from the mayor's ongoing donations

Alfred Duma Local Municipality Mayor Zama Sibisi continued with his initiative of donating to schools when he visited Ndalela High School in the Burford area yesterday (May 11).

There, he donated 30 pairs of school shoes to learners in need.

He also promised to come back and visit the school at the beginning of next year to reward and give recognition to the top 10 learners in Grade 11 and 12.

The mayor was accompanied by Ward 14 Councillor Mthokozisi Khoza, Chief Whip Sabelo Sithole and other municipal officials.

Since the beginning of the year, Mayor Sibisi has visited numerous schools within the municipal jurisdiction to donate shoes, tablets and uniforms.
