The Grade 3 St Dominics Newcastle learner won a gold medal for KATA (a karate skill) in the Northern KwaZulu-Natal tournament, which was held in Newcastle on April 9 this year.
Ntsika also qualified for the Nationals, which will take place in Johannesburg this month.
