The two men accused of killing a 16-year-old at a shop in Arbor Park earlier this month, appeared in the Newcastle Magistrates Court again on Friday (April 29).

The accused, aged 35 and 36 respectively, made a brief appearance before the court. However, the matter was postponed once more.

According to Lizzy Arumugam, from Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications, both accused first appeared before the magistrate on April 19. The case was postponed however, after the accused both requested a translator be present.

They were both remanded into police custody yet again, while awaiting the next stage of their bail application.
