New police commissioner at the helm in Uthukela

Major General Jabulani Khumalo is the new Uthukela District Commissioner of Police.
With close to three decades in the South African Police Service (SAPS), Khumalo has a wealth of expertise and knowledge under his belt.
“The general has climbed the ranks over the years and has been part of important milestones both of the police service and of the country. He is known as a disciplinarian who is highly skilled in various fields of policing. The veteran officer is enthusiastic in fulfilling his constitutional mandate and is always eager to engage with the broader communities in the district. Welcome to the Uthukela District, General Khumalo,” commented police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan.
