Gate motor theft rife in town

Gate motor theft is rife in the Egerton area at the moment.

A resident living in Princess Margaret Street said it cost him about R8000 to install the motor. “I am not sure when they took it, but I realised that something was wrong in the morning when my gate would not open automatically. To my horror, I saw that my motor was gone,” said the fuming man.

Residents are urged to be vigilant and on the lookout for suspicious individuals and behaviour.
