Help Cebisa become the next Mr South Africa

Vote for Cebisa Gule by SMSing MRSA10 to 40439 (SMSs cost R2 and free SMSs do not apply). Your vote could help him become the next Mr South Africa from Nyanyadu.

Cebisa Gule (26) from Nyanyadu is chasing the title of ‘King’ in the Mr South Africa Pageant.  Cebisa matriculated at Tsakani Secondary School in Gauteng and currently lives in Dundee. Aside from being an entrepreneur, or a ‘fitrepreneur’ as he calls it, Cebisa enjoys helping people reach their ‘body goals’ as a fitness trainer. He also has a passion for modelling, which was sparked in 2013 when he was still at school and entered the Mr Tsakani Mall Pageant. He came second in that pageant and has since gone on to win a handful of titles, including Mr World South Africa in 2018. Cebisa was also one of the top five finalists in the Mr International Pageant. He now wants to add Mr South Africa to his growing list of achievements.

“The main reason I entered Mr South Africa is because I have grown as a model. With that being said, I have discovered so much about myself through modelling and I want to inspire my community and put KZN on the map.”

He further explained that being a male model is not easy, as this is a female[1]dominated industry. He says that: “We need more men as role models in society for the younger generation to look up to and I will pursue this goal through my modelling. I want to be a leader and it is easier to lead when you are in the limelight, as you gain the power to be influential. “What better platform to do this than on the runway.” His message to young boys is: ‘Work on yourself every day and discover who you are as a person. “We were all given an assignment to do in this world, therefore it’s up to us to realise our own dreams and live them. Dream, young boys, as life is full of possibilities and we have to change people’s mind-sets in a positive way by helping them realise their own dreams as well’.
