A motorcyclist was seriously injured after being involved in a collision this afternoon (April 14).
The motorcycle (scooter) collided with a car in Princess Street, in front of a service station. A woman who works at a nearby shop said she witnessed the entire incident.
“The man on the bike flew up into the air and landed flat on the ground. It was like a scene from a Spiderman movie, seen in real life,” said the shocked eyewitness.
The driver of the scooter was rushed to hospital by ambulance.

The driver of the car was not injured.
Public Safety officials responded to the scene.
