LHS pupil flying the Ladysmith flag high

The Miss SA Teen 2022 finalist is pleading for support to help make her dream come true

Ladysmith High School learner Nkosisiphile Meyiwa (16) is flying the Ladysmith flag high by going through to the finals of the Miss SA Teen 2022 pageant.

In August 2021, she saw an advertisement about this prestigious beauty pageant on WhatsApp and immediately entered online.

Nkosisiphile’s journey has not been an easy one though. “I draw my strength from the support I have been getting from my family and friends,” she says with a smile.

She is now eagerly anticipating the grand final, which will be held at Emperors Palace in May.

However, for her to be able to represent her town, she is appealing for support from Ladysmith residents. “I am pleading with people to help make my dream come true. I am in need of accommodation and transport fees, so any help would be appreciated,” she says.
