Prayer shop robbed in Kandahar Avenue

The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash

A prayer shop was robbed this morning (April 1) in Kandahar Avenue.

Three men entered the store and pretended to be shoppers before pulling out firearms.

The petrified owner and staff were held at gunpoint during the robbery.

The three suspects allegedly stole cellphones and other items from the store, as well as an undisclosed amount of money.

The robbers fled the scene with their loot.

Police responded to the scene.

No injuries were reported.
