Emergency services rallied around to provide essential health care to a woman that was critically injured during a crash on the N3 near Midway this morning (March 30).
The woman was travelling Johannesburg-bound when it is believed she lost control of the car, causing it to crash off the road.
Due to the impact of the collision, the woman was reportedly thrown out of the vehicle, sustaining critical injuries.
Paramedics and emergency services worked together to stabilise the injured woman on scene before she was moved to a landing site and airlifted with an aero—medical helicopter to a specialist facility for further care.
