Dundee SPCA junior members talk about the plight of polar bears

A simple way in which you can make a difference is through 'Meat Free Any Day'.

The Dundee SPCA junior members recently marked International Polar Bear Day by bringing awareness to the plight of animals.

International Polar Bear Day is an annual event celebrated on February 27 to coincide with the time period when polar bear moms and cubs are sleeping in their dens, and to raise awareness about the conservation status of the polar bear.

The junior members prepared speeches on the current status of polar bears, a perfect polar bear world, how climate change is ruining that world, and what we as humans can do to help fight climate change. A simple way in which you can make a difference is through ‘Meat Free Any Day’. Simply take one day out of every week and choose not to eat meat on that day.
Junior members who gave speeches then asked questions based on those speeches. Fellow juniors who got the answer right won themselves a prize. The Dundee SPCA junior members would like to thank Dundee Golf Club for allowing them use of the facilities for the event.
