Boys and girls on the catwalk at school’s first beauty pageant

Noluthando explained that: "The main aim of this beauty pageant is to create a culture of self-belief in our younger generation and it was a first for this school.

Empisini Primary held their very first beauty pageant competition at the school recently. Sanele Mthethwa and Noluthando Hadebe, the title holders of Mr and Miss South Africa KZN Provincial Winners 2021, started this initiative.

Noluthando explained that: “The main aim of this beauty pageant is to create a culture of self-belief in our younger generation and it was a first for this school.

“Secondly, it is part of our duty to promote ourselves as last year’s winners as well.” There was a great turnout of young boys and girls, as they ‘cat-walked’ the runway in the school hall.
