Some residents in the Egerton area are fed up with the municipality after being left without power since last night (March 8).
Speaking to one of the residents, he said that he reported the problem to the municipality, but with no success. He was told that the Electricity Department do not work after 22:00.
The man says that today (March 9), they still do not have power.
“We feel that our Constitutional Rights as ratepayers in this area have been violated by incompetent officials,” fumed the resident.
