Department congratulates top-performing schools

Mankayana High School, Ntababusuku High School and the Islamic Educational Centre achieved a 100% pass rate

The Department of Education congratulated top-performing local schools by hosting the Matric Excellence Awards recently.

The ceremony was held at ML Sultan Primary School last Friday (February 25).

Hosted by the Mnambithi Circuit Management Centre (CMC), the awards were held to give recognition to local schools and in particular the principals who have achieved top results within the circuit.

Principals were present to collect certificates and awards on behalf of their respective schools.

The overall pass rate in the circuit was 73.5%.

Mankayana High School, Ntababusuku High School and the Islamic Educational Centre (IEC) are some of the schools that excelled and achieved a 100% pass rate in 2021.
