Clarity on how to pay municipal accounts

You may now settle your account through Pay@

Alfred Duma Local Municipality issued a statement today (February 25) in which they confirm that they no longer use the Easy-Pay method of paying accounts.

As from March 1, customers who use the third party payment method to settle their accounts are advised to use Pay@.

Pay@ is a third party payment system that is similar to Easy-Pay.

You will be able to make your payment at any major retailer that has the Pay@ facility. This includes Pick n Pay, Spar, Checkers, AK’s Supermarket, Tanduri Supermarket, etc.

Cashiers will be required to use the latest statement/invoice, which will have the municipal Pay@ number on it.

This change will have no effect on customers who pay via EFT or at any of the municipal pay points. Contact the enquiry counter at the Lister Clarence Building or the municipality on 0366372231 for further enquiries. Alternatively, you can send a query via email to enquiries@alfredduma.gov.za
