The principal of a school in a rural area outside Ladysmith was denied bail on Monday (February 21) when he appeared in court.

The principal is accused of molesting a learner and is being charged with sexual assault.

He was arrested on Friday (February 18) and appeared in the Ezakheni Magistrate’s Court on Monday, where he was denied bail.

He will be appearing in court again on March 24.
