DUNDEE-GLENCOE: Crunching tackles at Sarel Cilliers’ Rugby Festival
The Sarel Cilliers Rugby Festival is always the highlight of the rugby season and this year proved to be one of the best yet, with outstanding play, a great atmosphere and excellent catering.
Friday and Saturday saw the arrival of over 70 rugby teams from all over the province, with 38 matches taking place over the two days. The Sarel Cilliers Rugby Festival is always the highlight of the rugby season and this year proved to be one of the best yet, with outstanding play, a great atmosphere and excellent catering. A rainy Friday evening gave way to a hot, sultry Saturday… Although hot, the weather was perfect. With rugby teams from all over KZN taking part, there was definitely a buzz of excitement in the air and lots of activity. The spectators cheered on their teams and were not disappointed, as there were a number of exceptional matches. It was a weekend of truly outstanding rugby!
