29-year-old arrested for suspected stolen property

The property was seized by police

A 29-year-old was arrested on Monday (February 21) for being in possession of suspected stolen property.

Acting on information received, Ladysmith Dog Unit (K9) officers and Intelligence operatives rushed out to the Tsakane taxi rank on the day in question.

There, a 29-year-old man was arrested after being found with suspected stolen aluminium windows. He was unable to account for the property in his possession.

His residence was then searched by the officers, where more windows were recovered.

The suspected stolen property was seized by police.

Ladysmith SAPS are currently investigating the case.

The community at large is advised to store their belongings in a safe place to avoid theft.
