A bakkie was recovered by police during an operation on Wednesday morning (February 16).
The operation, which was held by Besters SAPS, focused on a vehicle that is suspected to have been stolen.
The Nissan bakkie was found abandoned.
On further investigation, it was established that the vehicle’s registration plates were false and that the engine number had been tampered with.

The vehicle was seized by the Ladysmith Vehicle Crime Investigation Unit.
