Food parcels handed over in Bergville
The recipients were families affected by the recent heavy rains
The Hope Worldwide South Africa organisation handed over 209 food parcels to needy families in Bergville today (February 17).
The event was held at the Bergville Sports Complex.

This handover follows the recent heavy rainfall and thunderstorms which caused so much damage and even destroyed many houses.
With the help of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), Hope Worldwide South Africa have been able to donate these food parcels and are still looking at distributing more within the Uthukela District.
