uThukela mayor assures good service delivery

The purpose of the visit was to assess progress and analyse all the technicalities of the project

A service delivery intervention programme saw uThukela Mayor Inkosi Shabalala visiting Ward 3 in the Ndunwana area on Tuesday (February 8). The mayor was accompanied by Speaker Cllr TY Nqubuka, councillors, the Technical Services team and other officials.

Assessing spring protection project

The purpose of the visit was to assess the progress of the spring protection project in the area and analyse all the technicalities associated with the project.

Water and jobs for the people

According to uThukela, the purpose of this project is to get water to the people. As an added benefit, employment opportunities will be created for the local community for the duration of the project.

The mayor addressed the community, reiterating the importance of good service delivery and providing them with clean, potable water.
