While taking the opportunity to interact with affected residents, Cllr Thwala assured them that ‘the current administration had devised a master plan which aims to see an end to broken streetlights’.

“We will not rest until our infrastructure gets the attention it deserves. I’ve personally committed to conduct these oversight visits every week, so that we reassure our residents that we understand their concerns,” promised Cllr Thwala.

Cllr Thwala is expected to expand the oversight visits to also assess roads and water infrastructure.
