ESTCOURT KZN: Blood donor support flows through

31 potential donors attended the clinic, with a total of 26 pints donated

A nationwide appeal was made to citizens to help the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) replenish their blood stocks.

A call was made for regular and new donors to visit their nearest clinic and give a pint of their life-saving blood.

Estcourtonians showed support and pitched up at the donor centre on January 23.

The doors to the Sai Centre in Forderville were open and the friendly SANBS staff were ready to welcome the steady stream of donors that flowed through.

31 potential donors attended the clinic, with a total of 26 pints donated.

The SANBS and its partner for the day, the Estcourt Sai Centre, would like to thank everyone who attended.

Cyril Moodley donated his 35th pint of blood.
Verosha Lutchman donates her fourth pint.
Ajay Nandan, a visitor from Howick (ready to donate his 128th pint), with Kiasha Mothilal (second pint) and Mayur Mothilal (14th pint).
