Handing over groceries to grieving family

The family lost a baby to crime

Alfred Duma Mayor Zama Sibisi partnered with Brigadier Francis Bantham (Provincial SAPS Women’s Network Champion) and Al-Imdaad Foundation regional operations co-ordinator Mr Abed Karrim and his team recently.

The group descended on a residence in the Tsakane area of Steadville, their sole aim being to support and assist a grieving family.

The family lost an innocent baby to crime recently. Elandslaagte police station commander Captain Khanyi said a prayer, after which the mayor addressed the family and conveyed his deepest sympathies.

Mr Karrim also extended his condolences on behalf of the foundation.

The family received groceries, courtesy of the Al-Imdaad Foundation.
