Educational games for the little ones

Puzzles and crosswords are great 'edutaining' games to keep your little ones absorbed for hours

If you are stuck inside and your kids are climbing the walls, but you aren’t yet ready to let them watch Netflix from dawn to dusk, we don’t blame you.

There are some games that are sometimes called ‘edutaining’. Think of them as fun games that also teach something, but in a way your kids probably won’t notice.

Puzzles

The first one is: Puzzles. This is a great way to have fun and can take up lots of time too as the various pieces have to be lined up just right to form the picture.

Crosswords

The second one is: Crosswords. Another way to teach them new words while having fun at the same time. You could all play together and give each other hints.

Okay, we’ve only given you two… Let’s see if you can add to these to make the holidays truly spectacular. Find some games that are both educational and entertaining, and let us know what you come up with.

Happy holidays playing with the little ones!
