VRYHEID KZN: Rhoda needs assistance with travelling costs

Rhoda used to be an active woman who ran a soup kitchen from her home to provide a healthy meal to needy children and frail people

Rhoda Limburgh was recently diagnosed with two types of cancer. As a single mom and selfless woman, Rhoda has Mycosis Fungoides and Lymphoma, which are both at an advanced stage. Rhoda used to be an active woman who ran a soup kitchen from her home to provide a healthy meal to needy children and frail people. Due to her illness, she had to temporarily close the kitchen. During her last visit for chemotherapy at King Edward VIII Hospital, she was informed that she needs chemotherapy every three weeks for the next 10 months, and not once a month as she initially thought. This means that Rhoda has to visit the hospital again on December 29. Unfortunately, she can’t travel with the hospital bus, since she gets very ill after her treatment. Rhoda needs assistance with travelling costs (petrol) and / or a roadworthy car, since her friends and children will assist with driving. If anyone can assist, please contact Rhoda on 073 210 1100.
