ESTCOURT KZN: Tree of Lights ceremony inspires hope

Those present lit candles and took a moment to remember their lost loved ones

Some new and other familiar faces attended the annual Hospice Tree of Lights ceremony, which was held yesterday (December 10).

This ceremony is held each year in memory of lost loved ones and the lights on the Tree of Lights, at the Hospice House in Beechwood Road, pays tribute to their eternal light.

Hymns and messages were part of the programme, with Emanuel Frank delivering a message, entitled ‘Hope’.

Those present lit candles and took a moment to remember their lost loved ones.

Estcourt Hospice Association chief executive officer Rena Licen switched on the Tree of Lights to mark the ceremony.

Thereafter it was time to socialise (from a safe distance) over refreshments.
